to 3D Printing Tips and Tricks
I have thoroughly enjoyed My MkS for the last 8 months and have felt an emptyness over the last couple of weeks while waiting for a replacement thermistor wire.

I need a second printer.

I have a good idea of what my needs are for the next machine. I have watched reviews, listened to the podcast, browsed websites, talked to sales people and consumed advertisements.

I've noticed that in the last month or so the amount off new machines and tech advancements have ramped up. Is this normal for tis time of year? Are Companies trying to capture as much of the Christmas market as possible?

I bought a Prusa because of reliability and durability and I am happy with that decision.  I am now considering a K1 Max from Creality for a number of reasons. Price is one. I also would like to see for myself. I am aware that brand loyalty is pervasive in the 3DP world....and Creality's previous offerings were for the tinkerer crowd which is not my interest....at this point. It does seem like Creality K series start to fall apart after 100 hours.  I assume that to be the case for all cheaper machines.

The point of this post.

If a printer is a piece of technology and is therefore disposable. Why buy an expensive machine when a new machine can ben purchased every year or two for the same financial commitment?
