Interesting article over at Hackaday. I have printed different cf embedded plastics ( except nylons ) and was not impressed with the results. I can add matt finish with fuzzy skin options in slicer, no carbon needed. Strength is the most important parameter in most of my prints. So I do not like fillers and additives in my plastics. With the exception of metal infused. I have done the brass pla, like most of you here. It could polish out quite nice, but was so brittle. Looking forward to the comments on this.

IME with CF inclusion within, PLA, PETG, PC and Nylon…. It makes it weaker.

Jeff  Ive seen that video, it’s great!  Folks should watch it.  Frankly between that video, the one from Tom Sandaliver? On how in most cases just use more of a less expensive fillament, the Nathan’s video on the carbon fibers getting in your hands… I would just avoid Carbon Fiber PLA.     I had to use a PC Carbon Fiber for an upgrade I did on my XL since thats the fillamet PRUSA specified - but as the folks say, it makes your hands itchy.
