A FB post of someone who modded their Prusa. They stated that it jammed right away…

So - that's it? No further Info?? Did the FB person simply decide to Give up and throw it away???

If it Jammed - sounds like Temp issues - and the person must Experiment more!!!

I mean - seems like the older MakerBot days - a co. releasing Tech - and expecting the Users to Debug it for them!!!

The poster said they were waiting for help from Bondtech support…. Which is odd since they had to take their Prusa apart and install a pretty complex modification. As such 

I would have thought they should be able to diagnose a jamming problem. Unless of course it’s a serious design problem.

BTW…l in the same FB group there’s vid of one of these things printing and they show what looks like a very interesting approach to prime and wipe. With the tool going into a silicon pad shaped like a “V”, purging a small blob, then knocking the blob off while going through the pad. Looked like it worked well.

I should also add that there’s at least one person posting pics of their Prusa one INDX who is so enamored by it that it’s… just too freaking weird!

Wow - that's really Interesting. Cause, the last project I was doing at Essentium was a new purging & wiping system - that actually incorporated a metal V-shape - which sounds Very similar. Yikes - it would be crazy if the person implementing the V-shape for wiping actually saw it from an Essentium machine - or, even more so - someone from Essentium was involved with implementing this thing. But, I doubt that. And, the V-shape just simply makes sense!

And - I agree - someone should easily be able to determine a Jamming problems - like - it's a heating issue - or, cooling issue like heat creep. Without seeing the actual design - no way to truly know...
