This may be old-hat for some of the old-timers, but I found this hack for slicing/printing (in Bambu Studio, maybe others support it as well).
The focus is on improving print quality by combining two halves of a model and printing upright, as opposed to printing each half flat on the bed.
I was less interested in that part, and more interested in how once he had the combined part, he was able to raise the model completely off the bed, and print, basically with all supports on the bed.
If anyone has an alternative, would love to hear it. I may have to do something like this for an upcoming project printing a model for my son's architecture project.
