DRM for 3d printers

How there is a push toward turning your tool into a DRM system 

I'm against this, but it may be something to talk about on the podcast

I have posted about the NY bills in there, a few lines below this one.  It is the same; think it was Washington or Oregon state that has been playing around with this dumpster fire as well.  I am super shocked that California is not trying to pass it as well.  It is worth noting that there is a company today that offers printer-blocking technology.  It is also in the field.
