Hi all. I came across this interesting trick/hack to make continuous prints. This guys struggles a lot to make it work and finally succeeded.

Ok for his relatively simple use case, but imo you can’t apply the ideas generally to all or most use cases.

Not sure if you meant this Dan.

I have a lot of products I've invented for billiards, many are 3D Printed.

Of those that are 3DP, a few are very tough to print.

I have seen the automated printing techniques in these 2 videos, but I've never tried them myself.

A couple of my products are selling in "test markets" (setup a display at 2 local pool rooms to find out if anything would actually sell), and have accumulated over 700 items of inventory.

I only have 1 3DP at this point that produces quality products, and will expand in the near future.

I print PLA, PETG & TPU.

The PEI magnetic bed works very well with PLA for automation, they are completely loose once the bed is cooled, so a swipe from the print head would work well for my needs.

These wouldn't work for automation:
TPU sticks like glue, and I have to pry them off.
PETG stcks way too well, and leaves residue and filament behind.

I will setup in the future to automate PLA.

I am interested in the "other" bed sheet (forgot the name of them from the 2nd video).

I can't use hair spray, sensitive to most perfumes and dawn diskwashing liquid sends me to the ER.
