Making BobbleHeads via NEW MakerWorld App!

Hey there Folks,

So - this past weekend - I got a request from a friend of mine, as a potential paid 3D Printing type project. He used to be in this forum, and he has a 3D Printing co. (Sliceworx.com) located in SoCal.
It has to do with BobbleHeads.

Well, he pointed me to a new Web app - that's part of MakerWorld:

     PrintU

Ironically - it's Perfect timing - as I wanted to 3D Print 3D characters based upon folks in the LA KROQ morning show called Klein Ally Show. And - FYI - the show is LIVE every day via YouTube streaming.
And, since they love to bust the chops of Vanessa - the show producer - I figured she would be the Perfect 1st option for this process. This was my first test, with Vanessa & using the new Web App to make a Bobble Head:

Anyway - just wanted to share this - for folks who did NOT already Know about this! It's pretty COOL!!!

That's very cool. Though the resemblance could be better. Is there a way to tweak it?

To be fair--I have experience with the old schoool approach. You send pictures and some artist somewhere creates the bobblehead. That doesn't always come out all that well either.

Actually - for the KROQ folks - I actually WANT to have kind of Cartoonish looking renditions.

But, if I progress forwards with my own project with KROQ - I will Def keep people here posted on my progress!
