Well then, it will have same downside as Bambu - in regards to incompatible filaments. Like, if you want to print PETG but have PLA supports - for - as Andy raves - Full Contact Support. That is Very problematic if all filaments go thru the same nozzle. Only solution may be VERY Long purges - but, that will cause LOTS of waste...-K
I suggest… if your slicer can do it… S3D does it and PS does it…. They refer to it as “Dense support”Set the support material that’s different to the last support part the “Dense” so that the majority of support material is the same marterial as the part. This way you have minimal material changes.
Yer it doesn't look as nice as the AMS, but i think it might be more functionalThe AMS - with so much filament going back and forth was always a minor miracle, this doesn't do that (has all 4 filament rolls going straight into the extruder)
