From what I previously saw, and the spec's on the printer - I did NOT think there was Active Chamber heating. I think I even mentioned this in the forum previously - as I was curious. And, yet - in the

Elegoo for of the Orca Slicer - it seems it IS Available for the printer:

So - is this REALLY a Viable Feature? Does the printer chamber actually heat up? For now - I manually turned on the Auxiliary Fan - and I cranked up Bed temp to 90. It DOES seem to be heating up the chamber this way!!!

There's no active chamber heater but there is a chamber temp sensor.  So far I've gotten mine to top out just shy of 50ºC.

The doc says this: If the machine is equipped with an auxiliary fan, OrcaSlicer will automatically activate the fan during the heating period to help circulate air in the chamber.

I never noticed that option in the slicer, very interesting. It definitely does know what the chamber temperature is maybe if you set this the printer will wait to start a print until
It reaches that temperature if it is indeed a temperature that can be reached via the heated bed.

Thanks Bryan for your quick feedback! YEah, for me - I have been preheating the printer on my own - and I crank up the Aux Fan to get the heat flowing around the chamber.

Will have to dig further - for when I want to do really BIG parts - using things like ABS & ASA. At some point - I will probably also try PA CF type materials as well.

Thanks Bob for your reply as well.

It is indeed EXCITING to have a New printer - and the 1st 2 prints were truly Amazing. Of course, PLA is EASY to print. ABS - well - that is tougher to do.

Kinda frustrating that a simple ball - I did on the Ender - I've had Multiple fails already on the Elegoo. I just tweaked print settings - and trying it again right now.

Yeah - my window is cracked open - and I got oven Exhaust on...
