So I did something. I ordered some SLM Aluminum prints. This shuttle is for a Tool changer on Voron printers, and this one is for a Tapchanger. The use of SLM makes the connection stiffer and more accurate overall.

I tapped the threads quickly; the metal does seem tempered as much as the metal allows; that is, in this case, it was M3 screw threads.  This head change also involves me adding CNC parts for the A, B, and X joints.  I have CNC front tension adjustments as well to install

Powder-coating was easy for me; that is one of the things I do, and I have been doing this for 7 years now.  I used prismatic Universe, which is a holographic powder that does some crazy color changes under lighting; it will shift from red, blue, green,

Once on the gantry, it will pick up tool heads as needed.  I added the screws chartreuse sherbert, which can be seen throughout the build and on my ERCF.

I used Subway. The parts were around $70 for the two, including shipping. Turnaround time was around a week.

OMG that was an autocorrect.  No subway does NOT do prints.  I used PCBway.

Yeah - $70 is pretty pricey for a bunch of Subway sandwiches!!! And, they would be very fresh if it took a week to get them in your hands!
