Hey has anyone else tried these I know they seem pricey for a nozzle

I recently bought one and put it in my V6 hot end in hopes to be able to push my corexy machine a bit faster
after watching multiple reviews online and stuff

I dove in while its not 100% apples to apples
as I replaced my stepper motor and heat break at the same time
these were done to get what I had hope would be the best possible outcome

I put a 0.4m cht nozzle on a standard aluminum hot block with a new titanium heat break
and changed my stepper from a standard 50 ish mm nema 17 to a much lighter 24mm nema 17 which weighs about 1/2 of the original one

all of this was in hopes to gain a bunch speed
and it was totally worth it.

I can defiantly extrude faster at the same temp which was my problem I was moving faster than I could extrude plastic  and weather or not it was needed the smaller motor has no problem keeping up

so in short the CHT nozzles definitely preform noticeably better I am now printing at a steady 160- 200 mm/s with a V6  @ 195c   from  80-120mm/s at the same temp or higher depending on the model

the lighter motor has helped keep ringing to a minimum which was my goal as I had noticed it was a issue already at the previous speeds with the heavier stepper.

I was wondering about those. I hope you noticed that little note at the bottom of the product description page on the Bondtech website about changing nozzles for different materials. I never have an issue like that with ordinary nozzles.

it could be a problem if I was using exotic stuff but petg and PLA is mostly what I print anything else a regular nozzle will be fine not going to run expensive filament super fast anyways

one thing to note they use a 6mm wrench not a 7mm like every other nozzle I have used
had to go fish a new socket out of the extras bin not a big deal but if your planing on going back and forth
you need to have the extra tool on hand
