Looks interesting. Part of the info talks about saving material switches/purges utilizing the 5 axis bed when possible.

That Literally came up in my FB feed about 10 min ago. I was going to post about it - but, decided not to bother - so, I'm glad you did.

I didn't really check it out - but, the 5-axis possibility seemed interesting. Glad you found it interesting - I may have to check it out a bit more. But, NO WAY am I buying any NEW Printers any time soon - as I already got TWO new 3DP's in a 1 year time period...

Come on Kurt, you know the proper amount of 3D printers is N+1, where N=your current number of printers :D

N+1.......LOL

I think they are really pushing the marketing hype calling this a 5 axis printer. Its really more like 3.5 axis coming from my machinist world. It only adds 17 degrees of additional overhang capability. While that's nice, its a long way from 4 axis let alone 5.

Seen a machine like this in action a few days ago. according to the manufacturer, the also considering to put the print bed on a robotic arm, to eliminate the need of support materials.
Hope we see this comming to the hobbyist market one day :-)
