Yeah - I've been way delayed in posting this. And, this time around - I will be Short...

I will say - I've Developed a special method of applying Designs to Koozi's via my Claude ASSistant - and he is KICKING Butt lately!!! He actually helps me turn a 2D Image into 3D - then - when I properly wrap it - it projects it on like "Painting" it in the Slicer!

Well - this weekend - actually hitting the road in the morning - as they folks Foolishly did this on a Fri. at 3pm - a High School Reunion! I went to school in Homer NY - and the Trojan is the sports teams logo:
Homer_Trojan_Koozi.jpeg

And - my Grad. class was Homer '81:
Homer_81_Koozi.jpeg

Yeah - I am prepping to soon launch a KickStarter around my Koozi designs - as I believe my designs are Superior to standard ones with the styrofoam rubber wraps - with cloth on them for Co. logos! So - here are the Trojan ones Printed:
Two_Trojans_Koozi.jpeg

Butt - Since I Seriously need Beta Testers of my units - I'm also printing basic ones with NO Logos (but, in a Color transitioning filament):
Color_Trans Koozis.jpeg

And - since I am SERIOUS about this - and going to use my school grad class as Beta Testers - so I went Crazy this week printing Koozis:

That's it for now...

Folks at the reunion really liked the Koozis - and they in particular fell in love with the Trojan Koozis! So - I gave a LOT of them out - and, even did Bartering - a Trojan Koozi in exchange for a good IPA beer!

I'm working on a New Koozi. Specific to the KROQ LA Radio station. As part of the project - I had Claude create a NEW Tool for me today - an extension of what I did before - but, now I'm working on something more generalized. The ability to turn a 2D Logo design into a 3D Object - that can be used in my Koozi creation process. This tool - I may do a general public release. Possibly...

And - 3D version of the Logo is attached as an STL!

Prepping up Koozi print design tonight, swapping a filament onto my printer - then will start up the print in the morning!

I printed a version yesterday during the day - and I got it off the printer last night - but, it was NOT Good - Letters were NOT Easy to read.

So - I tweaked things - so I could get Black all around the letters to make them POP - and BOOM - it worked!!!

My koozi crazy weekend lol.
I played around printing Kurt's koozi stl this weekend among other things. I like the design.  It adds stiffness to flexibles.
I am the 1st and most likely only one to print a koozi in Timeplast holographic filament.  They printed nice ( vase mode is easiest way to print this stuff ), BUT a water-soluble plastic as a koozi welds itself to the can. Ask me how I know...lol
Then moved to red peba. I have a love hate relationship with peba. The material is very strong and flexible,  but can be a pain to print. And I end up running it slow.  It also has to be dried for a very long time.
Personal gripe here, why don't filament manufacturers make perforated spools ( at least where filament is ) to assist in drying the whole spool instead of the top layers.

Yes, its semi transparent, and they put sparkles in it.
Its definitely softer than the peba.
Its been fun stress testing your stl's and the carbon.
I need to get some tpu and try it out.
I have gotten a couple comments on people who would like bottoms.
Is that just a Midwest thing???

Thanks again for printing them out and trying them - and getting feedback!

For folks who want a bottom - here is the KEY! The point is to replicate action of Cloth/neoprene koozies - they CAN Lie Flat - and put in  your back pocket! Thus - That's what I need mine to do! A Bottom - Nope - it will no longer lie flat!

The ones you printed - show them FLAT to people - that you can put it into your back pocket! Then they will understand!

I admit that I am koozi illiterate.  I didn't realize they were made to fit in your pocket.  So yes a bottom would be a problem.
The 14 year old like wearing them as wrist wraps.( especially the timeplast )... Maybe you can hit the fashion market as well....lol
