Well... actually... There's no legal means to register a rocket launcher. As such, there are no "Ghost" launchers... right?

I think there may be an explosive and destructive device license. I don't imagine that they're easy to get.

Well...

"To qualify as an amateur rocket, the launch must be suborbital, not have any humans onboard, remain under 150 km (93.2 statute miles), and have a total impulse under 200,000 lb-sec (889,600 Newton seconds)."

But still, the launcher is not covered, so.... you're good! (For now)

I think you can get a lot of these parts on MakerWorld’s CyberBrick section. They have ESP32 boards in the remote control kits.

Perhaps the folks from all these ban happy states can make these instead. I doubt the language in those bills says anything about rockets lol

That’s the Sahed interceptor that Ukraine is using and about to sell.

Yes, that would be cool. Particularly if it was fairly straight foreward to print.

What would also be cool, would be to figure out some communal way, to print some of the larger, more time consuming parts, and ship them to Ukraine, to assist their defense from Putin's evil empire.

Mark - I totally agree.

There were project in the past where people around the world printed parts - and then sent to a central location to build a large sculpture. This was done Several times - and shown off at NYC World Maker Faire.

Then - there is the Enable project - for printing these kinds of workable hand prosthetics for young kids - and that was a GREAT Project.

Are you sure that some people aren't already doing something like this - to help the war efforts in Ukraine???

People were printing bomb casings, drone parts and a whole bunch of other stuff early on in the war for Ukraine.

After that it shifted to buying and sending them filament and parts for their printers.

Now they’re definitely self sufficient and putting their printers to good use.

Google…. Ukraine Sting Interceptor.
It’s kinda tiny, has the attributes of a quad but uses winglets to go completely horizontal so it can go real fast.
It can go 200 mph fly for almost 40 miles. Operated as an FPV and only costs $2k each.
The perfect foil to the Shahed drone.
The entire body and chassis is 3d printed.

Here's and excellent video on the Sting. It looks much like Bryan's proposed model.

It is easy to 3D print an aeroshell and some struts.    But from my reading, the motors and battery will cost $1,000 if you buy them in wholesale quantities.
