A friend of mine is disposing of a pro-grade Stratasys printer, that has been hacked for third-party materials.
Here's what they have to say about it:
"The printer is a dimension 1200es I believe. Price: free if they can pick it up (will need a truck/suv). It's about the size of the uprint, so about the size of a large mini fridge. With the stand/cabinet it's like a small refrigerator. Its not your typical desktop machine.
It has a new print head (thanks to the tech guys at fathom) and I've also done some hacking to run my own materials in the cartridges (just reprogramming the eeproms) but it should be in good working condition.
It would be a nice gift for someone wanting to hack the stratasys machines."
