After putting the Hemera on the Ender 3 the cables really needed some serious management. With the direct drive there is an added stepper cable and they all go from the bottom of the frame to the X axis carriage.
I went to the Tverse and downloaded the most popular set:
But I needed to manage the cables from the old stepper location to the carriage so I added a horizontal mount to where the E stepper used to be and I made a mod to a mount on to the X carriage. I added a thick long cable tie into the bundle to ensure the entire length of the chain bent and not just one or two spots to prevent cable damage.
It looked awesome! Two chains in the vertical and one , to the X carriage, horizontal. However...
It did not work. Not at all. The horizontal chain bent in 2 places each by the mounts. Way too tight and always at the same places. A definite recipe for a broken cable set. The best approach: have the bundle go up from the old stepper mount at a 45 degree angle by connecting it with a smaller cable tie, then attach the end of the bundle with another at the X carriage. Now the entire bundle bends along it's length and not in 1 or 2 spots.
