I was today years old when I realized that I could use a custom bed texture SVG image to "highlight" portions of the print bed I want to avoid for certain prints.  You basically create the image in Adobe Illustrator (or other), export as SVG and then apply the SVG as a texture to your printer in PrusaSlicer (Printer | Bed Settings | Set ... | Texture | Load...)

Background:  While dialing in my new Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus with my Wham Bam flex steel build plate, I inadvertently created a sub-mm "dimple" in the PEX surface when the heated nozzle pressed into the PEX surface and sat for longer than it should have.  For 95% of my prints that dimple is inconsequential since it is a small blemish that appears on the bottom of the print.  The other 5% or so are prints where the "top" is on the bed for a nice smooth surface and in that case, I really didn't want the dimple to show.

The attached image shows the blue/white dot that now appears in my Neptune 3 Printer profile to show me where to avoid if I have an upside down print.  Now I don't have to do guestimates of if I've moved the model far enough or calculate where to offset x and y to avoid the spot.

It's the simple things in life...

Here is the link to PrusaSlicer's doc on bed textures - they have some specific requirements on how the SVG is constructed:
