Hello,

After watching several of the Juicebox Assembly Tools videos, I see that it should be possible to merge superscaffolds/chromosomes by clicking above the diagonal. For example, see https://youtu.be/IMmVp8FodmY?t=121.

However, this feature does not appear to work for Juicebox v.1.11.08 on Windows. When I hover the mouse near a chromosome breakpoint, the pointer does not change to the expected "corner" symbol.

Is this a known bug? Or is there something I'm missing?

Thanks in advance,
Dan

Hi Dan,

Are you doing this on the tutorial assembly or on your own assembly? @David, do you think you could check this?

Hello Olga,

Apologies, I was able to resolve this issue. I did not realize you had to click very precisely on the superscaffold breakpoint to merge them.

Thanks,
Dan

It does not need to be super-precise per se, but it does need to be unambiguous in that the pointer is positioned such that it is in the corner between two consecutive scaffolds. Glad you've resolved this. -Olga
