Unable to zisualize HIC file in Juicebox Desktop version

Hi!

I am facing a weird problem. I want to visualize the .hic files on the desktop version of Juicebox. I downloaded v1.9.8 and 1.11.08. Both versions can open the test data; however, they are unable to open my .hic files. When I click on the 'inter_30.hic' file from 'Open', the screen just says 'Loading' for a few seconds and goes back to what it was before.

I can open my files on the web version, but as I can't load my annotation files or visualize other standard metrics there, I was interested in the desktop version. My .hic files are fairly large (~ 3.5Gb) and not empty. 

I checked if it is any firewall issue by disconnecting my computer completely and loading the files from the local machine (usually stored on the server / Dropbox). That didn't work either. I am using a Windows machine. 

Any recommendations are welcome.
