Juicebox not opening certain versions of juicer pre

Hi, 

I'm struggling to open some of my files with Juicebox, I started with juicer_tools.2.20.00.jar and it wouldn't open on Juicebox at all, even the web versions. 

When I switched to juicer_tools_1.22.01.jar it works on the web version, but not on my local juicebox (I need assembly tools). Nothing happens when I try to open it. 

I'm working on a linux so the most recent version I can use is 1.11.08, 

I've also tried  Juicebox 1.8.8 and I can't download 1.9.8 to try it. 

Do you have a solution for this? Am I trying the wrong thing?
