Hello,

Is there a way to downgrade the .hic format (v9 .hic) from Juicer v2 to an earlier version? I am having a hard time getting the hic files to work with hicExplorer and hic2cooler.

Thanks,
Tony

ENCODE will be generating a ton of v9 .hic files, so the better solution is that hicExplorer and hic2cooler should add support for v9 files. Can you create a github issue in the repos for these tools and tag me? (@sa501428)

Thank you for the help Muhammad,
I have created issues on their repos and tagged you respectively. Is there any interm solution to preform downstream analysis that is not within the Juicer family of tools using .hic files generated by Juicer v2? I currently have all of my HiC files processed through Juicer v2 already, and I do not wish to rerun everything (and try to configure v1.6).

Did this get resolved? Is there a way to downgrade? Or is hic2cooler compatible with v9 .hic?
Thank you.
Lucas
