I am not sure this is "hokey" I noticed that one of my libraries has
a flag pole in front,(most do) I found a low poly one in the
warehouse, and put it in the model. Its kind of a nice touch.

That's cool Patrick. If you feel it's a good fit, go for it. A little
creative licence is acceptable for sure.
