Today I had an opportunity to correspond with our UK Carnegie guy, and
saw the drawings he had been give for constructing what will be the
first, and may I add, quite a unique Carnegie Library building in the
town of Hull.

If you would like to take a look at what I'm talking about, check it
out here.

I also uploaded a KMZ file with the Hull Carnegie location. The
address plugged into GE moves you a little to far West, so the KMZ
should put you right there.

Check out the Street View, and get a good look at what Lee has to work
with. I noticed some good looking pubs in town, so maybe a field trip
is in order to get some good digital shots.

Think you could arrange that for me and the little woman Lee?

Just kidding. Get feeling better my friend. Lots of work ahead of us
all.

And I hope everyone is still having fun working on this collection. I
sure am.

One of my colleagues lives in Hull and unfortunately it's not the best
places to have a pint in! My city of York is much nicer, with much
nicer pubs:

I would be happy to buy you all a few pints!! ;-)

Looking forward to starting the Hull one, and the others .... !

Looks like the Black Swan would be a great Pub to model for your "Pubs
of York" collection.

Maybe one day, we might have the opportunity to partake in what they
offer. Do they have Boddington Ale on tap? One of my favorite ales,
besides Firestones Pale Ale.
