What is the current recomendation for cordless phone for 3CX?
I have Snom M3s that are failing and I need to replace.  They worked OK but wanted to know if there is something better.

What about using a smart phone. I have been experimenting with my iPhone and it seems to work well. The problem with the iPhone is that if it is not plugged in, the WiFi turns off after a few seconds. Has anyone done any testing with other smart phones? Should I try opening my firewall and use the iPhone over 4G?

I think I’ve heard some good things about TGP500 for cordless although I have not used, myself.

Why are you using an iPhone.  My android works fine with 3CX ;-).

Snom M3 devices do work, but the user experiences I have seen indicate that the device is far below the usual Snom quality level for their desktop devices such as the 360 or the 370.

Snom had also released a successor to the M3, called the Snom M9, but again it seemed to have the same of quality/performance shortfalls that the M3s were prone to.

Grandstream DP715 / 710 has just come out -- as in released last week. I think I paid $80 plus shipping.

I haven't heard whether or not it will be supported directly by 3CX. 3CX has tested a Panasonic IP cordless phone.

I just got one of the Panasonic KX-TGP500. Haven't gotten to use it yet. It is a choice in the 3CX provisioning templates.

Thanks.

Allen

@Gregory,

The  KX-TGP500  works very well with 3CX Phone System. We have three clients using eight handsets and they report excellent results.
