Dear Crane-friends,
You have likely heard that at a press conference this afternoon Governor Mike DeWine and Dr. Amy Acton, Director of the Ohio Department of Health, announced an order banning gatherings of more than 100 people in a single room in Ohio, as a measure to slow the spread of COVID-19.
While the order specifically excludes religious gatherings (and our rituals rarely have more than 100 attendees in any case), the officers and priests of Three Cranes Grove have voted unanimously to cancel our in-person celebration of the Spring Equinox this Sunday. While we deeply treasure holding ritual in physical space with our grovemates and our honored guests, we serve the folk best by taking recommended precautions to limit community exposure and transmission.
Instead, we will be offering a virtual ritual this Sunday at 3:30pm Eastern Time — more details will be forthcoming. For now, we thank you for your understanding, and we hope that you will pray for our health and safety, as we pray for yours.
Sincerely,
The Priests and Officers of Three Cranes Grove, ADF
