Hello Crane-friends,

As promised, here are more details about tomorrow's virtual Spring Equinox ritual, which you can join via Zoom (details below): https://zoom.us/j/337362382

At this rite we will honor the many Indo-European deities of the dawn, from across cultures and hearths. These goddesses are renewers, wardens of the gates of heaven, lights of the morning sky: like a sunrise, each is unique, but each shares her qualities with her sisters.

We will also bless the tools of our work, no matter what that work may be — we've blessed everything from garden trowels to guitars, laptops to lab equipment.

What you'll need:
- a computer or phone with an internet connection
- the Zoom app (if you've never used it, when you click on the meeting link you'll be redirected to a download, which is pretty small)
- a beverage of some sort; we'll be blessing the Waters of Life with the blessings we receive, and each person's beverage will receive those blessings.
- any tools that you'd like to bless: don't feel like you need every single tool ever, but have something representative so that the blessings can percolate out from it
- the bards are planning to meet up and provide music, and you are very welcome to sing along! You'll find appropriate hymnal pages and an order of service in this Google Drive folder (just take it all with a grain of salt; we might call an audible as the situation demands): https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vgw2kYcyc2NIZSBpLP2dahILvQBiTrr5?usp=sharing

How to use Zoom:
- If you already know about Zoom you just need this link: https://zoom.us/j/337362382
- New folks, you basically just need to click the link. If you've never Zoomed before, there'll be a quick app download, but then you're basically set!
- You are more than welcome to turn on your video so we can all see each other's faces in community, but the meeting's set to have all participants muted, to avoid overwhelming background noise. Unless you're a ritual participant with a speaking role, we ask you to leave your mic muted.
- There's a chat function in Zoom, and you're very welcome to use it, both to participate in a textual way, and as a troubleshooting venue. For troubleshooting, we'll have a couple tech folks there, but one is Rev. Dangler and the other is Mike the Bard, so we'll be a touch distracted — we'll do our best!
- Chat isn't open by default. On a computer click "Chat" at the bottom of the Zoom window to display it. On mobile, click "Participants," then click "Chats."

We hope to see you there! We know that this time of sheltering and isolation is difficult, and we're in the planning process of providing more opportunities for our Crane community to be together-while-apart.

In blessing,
Three Cranes Grove, ADF
