Non payment of penalty - illegal

Pl refer to the attached news article in Time of India today. National consumer commission of India has ruled that builder demanding 18% interest from buyer and paying 1.8% interest EVEN THOUGH AGREED IN THE BUYER AGREEMENT is illegal. The judgement is reserved but will be pronounced soon.

All of you who is not paid penalty for delayed possession must write to 3c giving reference to this article and demand your legitimate penalty dues.

A copy of your letter should be marked to REGISTRAR NATIONAL CONSUMER DISPUTES REDRESS AL COMMISSION, upbhokta Nyay Bhawan F block GPO complex INA New Delhi. 

A copy of your letter should also be marked to Editor Times of India.
