Guys,

You may use following link to get directions from Sector-18 Noida to Collectorate Complex in Surajpur, Greater Noida.

After opening the link, you may change source location from 'Sector-18, Noida' to whatever you wish.

Destination point (B) in map is the precise location of Treasury Office in Collectorate Complex. Once you reach (B), from outside, it looks 'State Bank of India'. But once you step inside the building, you will notice board for Treasury Office on the right. You would need to go the end of the corridor. Towards the end of the corridor, there is another corridor on left. It has a window where you can deposit 'Cash' for Stamp-papers. If you are carrying a DD/Manager's Cheque, they will ask you to come into the room & submit the application along with DD.

I was told today that it closes at 4. I had the impression that it should, like most of the govt offices, be open till 5. It is not the case here. Hope it will save the day for few!

Best,
- Gauraw

Thanks Gauraw for the details.
From where do we get the application form?

"If you are carrying a DD/Manager's Cheque, they will ask you to come into the room & submit the application along with DD. "

@Sourav: Just carry a couple of blank papers with you. You will be asked to write all the details regarding Stamp Papers on 2 blank papers. They will keep one with them and give you the other one with a "received" signature.

No other form required.

Thanks,
Mohit Arora

People going to the treasury office can use the attached format for request letter.

Please carry the same in duplicate.  Also, get the draft scanned/photocopied for proof, if required later on.

All, in case of jointly owned property, is there any requirement to have names of both the owners written on the  stamp papers (on the backside of it)?
