TDS : How to download Form 16B from TRACES website

Hi,

To pay the required TDS I have submitted the form 26QB and paid the required amount through e banking facility.

Now to download the Form 16B from TRACES (https://www.tdscpc.gov.in), unable to log in into the site.

Steps followed :

1. Goto "https://www.tdscpc.gov.in" and select Register as New User -> Tax Payer.

2. Fill details regarding PAN and surname.

3. Goto OPtion 2 and submit the Challan Serial Number.

4. As per the Help available against the Challan Serial Number TDS on sale of Property (800) is not mentioned.

Please let me know the process of downloading Form 16B from TRACES website. Will it takes 2 days for system to reflect the changes even if amount is paid online.

Hi Anubhav,

Generally, It takes around 5-7 days for your information to get reflected on Traces website and before that it always throw an error for 'Invalid details'.

Plz spk to Hemant in accounts deptt of 3C. He will guide you. Incidentally most of us commit one fault ie we enter the TDS in wrong format. Correct format is ADCD.00 .Do not forget tp add two zeros after the decimal. Hope it solves your problem else Mr Hemant is there.
