Low/empty Mapp gas canisters

Friends,

I have about 12 - 16 small yellow Mapp gas canisters, all of which are at least low on gas and a few are empty. The only way I can see in Allegheny County to recycle/dispose of these is at the once-a-month recycling events that occur only April through October.

Any thoughts on who could use the low canisters or how to dispose? I’m flummoxed.

Don Jones might be able to use them in his robot sculptures.   Do you know him?   If not, I can connect you two.
