I recently had a panorama rejected, and I’m assuming it was due to its size at 4282 × 2141 pixels. That was my fault, as I accidentally uploaded the wrong file. I’ve now deleted that image and uploaded one with the correct resolution.
I’m not sure if there may have been another reason for the rejection. The panorama shows the interior of the famous Dunedin Railway Station, including the ticket office, which could potentially be interpreted as promoting a business. However, the ticket sales are operated by a company owned and run by the Dunedin council, and I was simply there on holidays. Given that this is the most photographed building in New Zealand, I don’t believe the image could reasonably be viewed as commercial promotion.
