Hi, Elena!

I’ve been traveling, and had a question about the following image:

As I am rather new to the group and have only had one image selected, I wondered what I can do to improve the image (and others that I submit) in order to increase the chances of having them selected.

Thanks!

Steve

Hi Steve,
let me guess: the resolution and general quality of the INSTA 360 is insufficient.

Other: the seam is showing bended horizontal lines which should be just straight (top of the glas/chrome-fence and bottom of the overhanging roof)
This could be fixed in Photoshop or Gimp but the general resolution of the INSTA is a "natural" limit

Isn't a bigger problem that the tripod and its shadow are all visible. This could almost certainly be fixed in photoshop.

Best

Brian

I assume the horizontal alignment poses an issue here.

In your other images the misalignment is very obvious. (e.g. Trinity....)

Tip: When exporting your photos using Insta360 Studio, use the option "Automatic horizontal correction" (under Tab "Stabilization Type" at the top).
Hint: The Camera allows you to calibrate its gyroscope. Might be necessary if you already apply the correction option on your exports.

Hello Steve,

Your image was not selected because it's not level. You can see it > http://www.360cities.net/image/miami-skyline-from-south-miami-beach-fl#-562.06,2.44,58.6

Thanks Gunnar, Brian, and Christian for your feedback and tips :)

Regards,
Elena
