  Hello everyone, how are you?
My name is Rogério Costa, I’m new here in the community, and I’d like to ask for some advice about finishing my panoramas.
I capture my panoramas using a drone, but I’m having issues with the zenith area, since the drone doesn’t capture the image above the camera.
I’d really appreciate suggestions or best practices to fix or fill in the missing zenith, possibly using image editing software with the Clone/Healing tool.
Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions.
Here’s the link to view the panorama and the zenith issue:

The usual suggestion is to shoot the zenith from the ground, either
after you landed the drone or with a different camera. Then use your
stitcher to insert them as usual.

To fix a hole, the zenith of the equirectangular image needs to be
remapped to rectilinear, at least for image editors that are not
spherical-safe, like f.e. affinity photo. If you use PTGui, one way is
to use my templates: https://erik-krause.de/ttt/#extract-insert but
newer versions also have a patch tool, that does this automatically.

hugin can probably do something similar.

I use the procedure detailed in the link below Rogério.  It involves a few steps because photoshop is not '360 aware', but produces better results than anything else I have tried.
The newer versions of photoshop have AI routines that work quite well for this sort of thing. I select the hole with the magic wand tool and then use the AI prompt"remove hole". https://wiki.panotools.org/Edit_zenith_and_nadir_in_one_go_with_PTGui
cheers, Bill

Wow this is really helpful. I was having exactly the same problems as Rogerio. Many thanks to both Bill and Erik for their very helpful suggestions!
