Join 350CT members in calling for the retirement of Connecticut’s last
coal-fired power plant!
On Monday, CT Dept. of Energy and Environmental Protection will hold a
hearing to decide whether to renew PSEG’s expired operating permit for the
Bridgeport Harbor Station. The outdated 44-year old coal plant lacks the proper
pollution safeguards, and it’s a major source of soot, smog, and greenhouse
gases.
Join other 350CT members at the hearing where we will call on CT-DEEP to
refuse the permit renewal, and we’ll call on PSEG to retire the Bridgeport plant
and revitalize the community.
