Feb 18 Rally for Climate and Public Lands in Burlington

Hi 350 Burlingtoners!

I wanted to let you all know about a rally that Standing Trees, 350, and others are planning on February 18 from noon -1pm outside Senator Welch's office in Burlington. Sen. Welch broke a clear, written promise he made to Vermonters by voting for the "Fix our Forests" act last year, and we want to show up to make sure that he, and all our congresspeople, do better this year. Fix our Forests is a really dangerous bill that (surprise surprise) wouldn't actually fix our forests — it would just undo core environmental laws to make it easier to log public lands, with major implications for the climate.
