Fall Rally North Spirit Session
Interested in attending Fall Rally North? Make sure to attend our spirit session on Sunday, October 8th from 3-5 PM at Memorial Park in Cupertino, hosted by Monta Vista Key Club! We will be learning our 2023 FRN cheers, making tutus and ribbon leis, and getting to know other Key Clubbers from D34S!
This spirit session is highly recommended for members and officers interested in attending Fall Rally North, as it is crucial that everyone learns and memorizes our cheers for the rally portion of FRN. Online October Service Challenge
For this month’s October DWS, our Service Project Coordinators Jazlyn and Jemma have organized an Online October Service Challenge! Compete with other clubs in the division to gain the most online service hours and the most member engagement throughout the entire month of October!
Learn all about the challenge HERE and make sure to share with your clubs! The clubs with the most service hours OR the most participants will win 50 penguin popsicle points each and recognition on our division Instagram!

September Events Recap
Shoutout to everyone who attended our September DCM and September DWS! We had a great time promoting sustainability at the DWS and decorating notebooks at the DCM. As always, event pictures are available in the 2023-2024 D34S Photo Album.
Also, huge thanks to our Fundraising Coordinators Courtney and Isabella for organizing our Chipotle Fundraiser, where we raised over $100 for PTP/YES! Keep fundraising penguins, and we will be sure to hit our goal of $2500 this year :)
Region Training Conference
This year’s R17 and R9 HungeRTC Games will be taking place from October 14-15th at Camp Jones Gulch in La Honda. Unfortunately, registration has closed, but there is always next year if you are interested!
For those of you who have registered, please respond to this email with your phone number so I can create a group chat for communication and RTC-specific information. Also, if you are interested in signing up for RTC penpals or the talent show, the deadline is October 4th.
[PLEASE READ] Fall Rally North
Fally Rally North is almost here! Key Club’s annual trip to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, California will be taking place on Saturday, October 21st this year. This event is open to all members, so check out this recap video and these photos from last year to learn more about what the event is like.
To register, you must:
Fill out our FRN Interest Form and contact your club president
Fill out two copies of the Medical Release Form (please download BEFORE editing!)
Confirm your club has enough advisors (advisor to member ratio is 1:25)
If your club does not have an advisor please reach out to me, as other clubs may have extra advisors and open spots!
Buy your tickets for $38 on the Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Website with promo code KEYCLUB. Double check with your president before purchasing tickets, since clubs may be buying tickets in bulk for members.
Additionally, we will have a bus taking members to Six Flags the day of FRN. Bus tickets are $47 and the bus will leave at 8 AM from Mountain View High School and return around 7:30 PM (leaving Six Flags at 6 PM). Taking the bus is highly recommended and bus registration must be done through your club. The deadline to register and pay bus tickets is Monday, October 9th, but your club may have an earlier deadline so double check with your president.
Finally, at Fall Rally North there is a rally portion where all divisions compete against one another with the loudest cheers and chants! It is crucial that all members learn and memorize this year’s D34S cheers, which can be found HERE. Make sure to attend our Spirit Session on October 8th, where our Spirit Coordinators will be teaching and practicing our cheers!
