WHAT IS REGION TRAINING CONFERENCE?
Below are the basic logistics of the event:
WHAT: Region Training Conference (RTC) is an annual overnight training event hosted by Regions 9 & 17 to train attendees on a variety of topics that they can bring back to their club or apply to their everyday life! Attendees will also be able to participate in a variety of activities including campfire bonding, listening to keynote speakers, participating in workshops, strengthening leadership skills, and creating unforgettable memories!
WHO: All Key Clubbers and adult chaperones of Regions 9 & 17!
WHEN: October 14th, 12:00 PM - 15th, 12:00 PM
Arrival & registration opens at 11:00 AM
Opening Session begins at 12:00 PM
Make sure you are picked up BEFORE 12 PM AND NO LATER THAN on October 15th

HOW TO REGISTER:
Interested in attending? There is a limited amount of spaces so be sure to contact your Key Club’s president to register as soon as possible and for more information!
If clubs register late, they are not guaranteed a spot to attend Region Training Conference due to the maximum capacity of the camp.
Make sure to fill out ALL required forms provided by your clubs—please contact your president for these forms!
Registration Deadlines
On-time: RECEIVED BY September 18th | $115 per person
Late: RECEIVED BY October 2nd | $130 per person
*If you are unable to pay for your registration cost due to your financial situation, please contact your club president and local Kiwanis to see if sponsorship is available.
SCHOOL POLICIES:
Complete all necessary school paperwork!
Receive both school and school district approval for RTC.
You do NOT want to have to cancel last-minute due to issues regarding school approval!
Be sure to communicate with your school principal and your school district as soon as possible, because overnight events generally take weeks to be approved.
