T-Shirt Design Contest Winner

Thank you so much to everyone who submitted designs for our 2023-2024 T-Shirt Design Contest! We are proud to announce that the winner of this year’s contest is Lucia Liu of Homestead Key Club! Lucia’s design will be featured on our division t-shirts for this year, so be on the lookout for more information regarding spirit gear in the coming weeks!

August DCM

Join us for our Club Rush Prep + August DCM on Sunday, August 13th from 3-5 PM at Serra Park in Sunnyvale! We will be making posters for club rush, working on trifold boards, and loaning spirit gear to clubs! Poster paper will be provided but in limited quantities, so please bring your own materials (e.g. markers, paint, cardboard, trifolds).

If you plan on attending, please fill out the RSVP form HERE or at tinyurl.com/d34saugustdcm23. Hope to see you all there!

KCTC, Summer of Service, and July DCM

Thank you to everyone who attended this year’s KCTC! We had a great time learning more about Key Club through informational workshops and participating in fun activities. If you have not already done so, please fill out this feedback form at tinyurl.com/kctcfeedback23 and view pictures at tinyurl.com/kctcphotos23. You can also view all presentations at tinyurl.com/kctc23resources.

Also, a huge thank you to everyone who participated in our Summer of Service Bingo Competition and attended our Promoting Healthy Habits Service Week! Special shoutout to our SPCs Jazlyn and Jemma for organizing such a successful July service week! I am proud to announce that our division was one of our region winners along with D12E :)

Region Training Conference: Save the Date!

The time has officially come…Regions 9 and 17 proudly present this year’s Region Training Conference: Hunger-TC Games! Join your fellow tributes at Camp Jones Gulch from October 14th-15th to see which district will prevail throughout the Games. Included throughout the Hunger-TC Games are workshops, activities, food, and lodging—all you have to do is serve!

Please mark your calendars for this year’s RTC and be on the lookout for more information from me and our region (Instagram: @region17royals). And as always… may the odds be ever in your favor.

2023-2024 Member Recognition Program

Our CNH District Member Recognition Committee has recently released the 2023-2024 Member Recognition Program rubric and materials. If you are interested in applying for this contest (highly highly recommended!) please read the following!

What is the Member Recognition Program?

The CNH Member Recognition Program is a program designed to recognize a large number of dues-paid Key Club members with a minimum of fifty service hours. Please remember that being on-time dues-paid is a prerequisite to qualify for the Member Recognition Program. If you are not dues-paid prior to December 1st, you will not receive recognition. There are four levels of recognition, as explained in the rubric linked HERE: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum (platinum receivers will get an opportunity to go on stage at DCON 2024).

How do I participate?

Attend various types of Service Projects, Division Events, Kiwanis Events, and more to qualify for the different requirements! The Member Recognition Program is recorded by your club Secretary, meaning they should be the ones keeping track of your MRP status. You do not need to submit anything yourself as a member, but make sure your club submits their club MRP data on time and accurately to your Division Lt. Governor.

Member Recognition Program Checklist

The Member Recognition Committee has created a MRP Checklist as a way to self-track your progress and show your club Secretary at the end of the term. It IS NOT AN OFFICIAL RECORD, however is a great way to see what types of events or how many more service hours you need in order to reach a level of recognition.
