November DCM

It’s once again time for our annual Blanket-Making November DCM, hosted by Fremont Key Club! Join us on Saturday, November 18th from 2-4 PM at Fremont High School in Room 162 to make blankets that will be donated to local hospitals, shelters, and more. Make sure to RSVP HERE and show up to the event to gain some service hours!

November DWS

This month’s DWS will be held over Zoom Sunday, November 26th from 3-5 PM. We will be participating in an online Color-A-Smile, so make sure to attend to get those service hours in! Results for the Online October Service Challenge will also be announced at this event. Instructions can be found HERE and don’t forget to check our Instagram and Division Calendar for updates!

Paying Your Dues!

Dues are essential to funding and supporting the CNH District and Key Club International, and it is highly recommended to become a dues-paid member. This year, dues are $12.50 ($5.50 to the CNH District and $7.00 to Key Club International) and will go towards funding District events, division budgets, recognition awards, and more! Becoming a dues-paid member also has numerous benefits including scholarship opportunities, the ability to run for office and receive District recognition, and an official membership card and pin. This year, our goal is to reach 300 dues-paid members!

The deadline to pay your dues, December 1st, is quickly approaching, so please reach out to your club president and treasurer to pay your dues!

Sweatshirt Design Contest

Are you creative and or interested in graphic design? Maybe you didn’t get the chance to submit for our t-shirt design contest? Or do you just want to have some fun designing a cute penguin-themed sweatshirt? Whatever the case, our 2023 Division Sweatshirt Design Contest is now open for submissions!

If you are interested in submitting for the competition, please read over the guidelines at tinyurl.com/d34ssweatshirtdesign and submit before the deadline on Sunday, November 19th at 11:59 PM. Can’t wait to see your designs!

Fall Club Vistations

Attention club officers! Since we are about halfway through the term, I will be hosting fall club visitations throughout November to check in on your club and discuss goals, future plans, and how I can best support you over the next few months.

Just like last time, please choose one representative from each club officer board to fill out the availability/sign up form HERE as soon as possible! Upon receiving your submission, I will contact your club’s officer board directly confirming a time and sending out a meeting agenda. These meetings will be shorter than last time, but timing will depend on your club’s needs. Can’t wait to meet with you all!

Region Training Conference and Fall Rally North Recap

Thank you so much to everyone who attended this year’s Region Training Conference or Fall Rally North! I had an amazing time seeing all of you show off your spirit with hundreds of Key Clubbers from around Northern California at both events. Pictures for Fall Rally North and HungeRTC are now available, so check them out if you haven’t already!

Both FRN and RTC are amazing opportunities to meet new Key Clubbers and make amazing memories. I hope to see you there next year!

Hello Everyone!

Just a reminder that our November DCM will take place tomorrow, November 18th at Fremont High School from 2-4 PM. Here is the link to the DCM Agenda, and don't forget to fill out the RSVP form as well at tinyurl.com/dcmblanket. I've attached a map of Fremont High School to help you all find Room 162, but feel free to text me or DM the division Instagram if you get lost!

Also, to answer some questions from the RSVP form:
  1. You do not need to be dues-paid to attend the DCM! Obviously, we would love it if everyone could be a dues-paid member, but even if you aren't, you are more than welcome to attend.
  2. No forms are required for this DCM! However, we recommend bringing scissors and cash, as we will be hosting a bake sale to fundraise for Holiday-A-Thon. There will be cookies, donuts, and cupcakes :)
Hope to see you all there tomorrow!
