December Events Recap
Thank you so much to everyone who attended our December events, which included our annual Holiday-A-Thon with D34N, our December DWS Movie Night, and our Caroling for Cans December DCM (hosted by Homestead Key Club!) We really appreciate your commitment to Key Club and service, and we hope to see you at future events :)
Conclave and Lieutenant Governor Candidacy
With the end of the term quickly approaching, it’s time to elect a new D34S Lieutenant Governor! The election will take place at our annual Conclave, which is scheduled for sometime in February. More information will be released soon, but please remember that each club is required to send at least one representative to Conclave to serve as a delegate. I will be checking in with officer boards once the date is announced, but start thinking about who will represent your club now.
In addition, this is your last chance to consider running for Lieutenant Governor this year! The deadline to submit candidate registration and service agreements is within the next few weeks, so if you are interested, let me know ASAP so I can send you the proper forms.
District Contests and Member Recognition
For those who do not know, Key Club has a variety of recognition programs and opportunities so YOU can get recognized for your hard work! These include District Contests and the Membership Recognition Program, two opportunities that are due soon!
District Contests include contests such as Distinguished Officer Contests and Club Awards reviewed by the CNH Membership Recognition Committee and the District Judging Committee. There are many more contests, including officer-specific contests, member contests, and a variety of club contests. The deadline for these contests is February 17th, and you must submit through the correct Google Classroom (which can be requested through THIS FORM).
Division Contests include Member of the Year, Advisor of the Year, Most Improved Club, and Club Attire. These contests are reviewed by our Division Judging Committee and should be submitted to your Lieutenant Governor by January 27th. For more information on either contest, please reference the email I sent out regarding contests and the CNH Cyberkey page on contests.
