ENDORSE URGENTLY - Women Against NPR - Statement to all CMs

Dear all, 

A letter to chief ministers about dangers of NPR for women has been put together by some feminist activists who met in Delhi a couple of days ago. 

The letter urges CMs to issue executive orders to de-link NPR from the census house listing which is set to be rolled out from April 1. This will be sent to the respective CMs on Tuesday morning. For states which have issued executive orders de-linking NPR and census, the letter will be appropriately amended.

We invite all individual women and women's organisations/ groups to endorse the letter through the link given below by 11 pm on March 16, 2020.
