The following is excerpted from an email from J. Schultz who googled
our old squadron and saw familiar names and info about one of our two
reunions – please post a reply to this message so we can update him on
things:

My name is J. Schultz, I was a day shift desk jockey up there. The
last time I saw you, y'all picked me up and took me to a class, I
don't remember if it was juvenile justice or interview and
interrogation. I was a 'part time' cop in Thomasboro. That was way
back in the early 80's.

I didn't know y'all had reunions, and when I saw the photos of the
last one, a lot of memories came back. It's a shame how terrible the
old base looks. I had thought that most of it would have been used by
industry, etc..

IF you remember me, I left T'boro and went to seek a job in FL. I was
hired by the Florida Highway Patrol, and was promoted to the rank of
Sgt. What an adventure!!!!!!!!! Until 2001 when I was hurt 3 times.

Keith Robinson, also of the squadron, passed away last year, it was
cancer. He is survived by his wife, Patty, and his son Kristopher
(yes, with a K). He was a true friend and he will be missed. Patty
lives in Indiana, outside of Dana. I'm sure she would appreciate a
memorial from the group.
