have loved to be there and had a chance to fly in one. Oh man. I do
thank you for posting about Keith, if you remember him, you'll know how
great of a guy he was. I remember one day that they were playing
'toilet paper tag' on the flight line, and he radioed because his
brakes weren't working. Caused a lot of laughs, thank God it wasn't an
active flight line. ha ha ha.
I look forward to maybe hearing from other people from the old sqdn.
I've already been in touch with someone and the flood gates of my old
feeble mind broke open and the memories have been flowing free.
Take care. Why do you go by 'mace'? I'm hoping it is from an aerosol
spray rather than the weapon from the dark ages. When I was working,
the guys I supervised called me sarge, but management referred to me as
'a cowboy', among other things, they didn't mean it in a good way,
rather that I was a 'rogue' or 'mustang'. I was more pro-trooper than
pro-management. Loved my job, not the politics. Where are you on the
ladder of success at Rantoul P.D.?
