Happy Mother's day to all our mothers and a special more happy to 승은.

 

Here is my QT for the day

 

1 Corinthians 12:1-12

The key word in this passage is the word “different.” It’s used three times by Paul. We all have different kinds of gifts, there are different ways to serve, and there are different workings BUT THE SAME LORD. I seem to forget the last point. Being in a position to lead, I must constantly remind myself of this. Many times I would just brush off someone off because they were wired differently. Many times I default to my selfish settings instead of looking for ways to put others first. God made me realize today that I do this because there is a part of me that feel I am better than others. I acted as if God loved me a tiny bit more by giving me more spiritual gifts than others. What I fool! No gift, how special it may be is worth anything if used without the love of Christ. No ability matters if not used to for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven. And most importantly, “spiritual gifts”….emphasizing the word gift because it was GIVEN to me by the Holy Spirit. I am who I am by HIS GRACE only.
