Works fine for me. I don't know why you aren't able to do this. I just
double click on the folder and it enters the folder just fine. This is
when exporting a convention right?

Windows won't let you manually create a folder starting with a ., but
it lets a java program create one. You should have no problem
navigating to this folder once it has been created.
