Hi All,
Now that we're all tuned up from 3 days sailing at the nationals we'll be looking at a very competitive fleet for the North Island champs!
This will be a great event if your new to the class or if you missed the national champs.
6th & 7th April 2024
North Island Champs - Ngaroto Sailing Club, Lake Ngaroto (Waikato, Between Hamilton and Te Awamutu)
Find Notice of race and entry form attached. Note: please enter by 1st April to avoid $10 late fee.
We've selected this venue for its central location so it is easy for as many 3.7 sailors to attend as possible. (Hoping the great John Elliot will make an appearance and show us what we are doing wrong!)
Obviously the sailing is important but this
north islands will also be a great social weekend with fantastic Waikato hospitably.
Venue Catering Accommodation
Bank Road (Off Paterangi Road Te Awamutu)
An area for camping on site, a large, grassed reserve for your tent, camper
van.
-
Lunches BBQ Lunch Saturday and Sunday.
Pre Ordered Monster Burgers
-
Breakfast Pre ordered cooked breakfast Sunday morning.
Our shop has a few nibbles and drinks.
I'll probably have a few drinks and sleep in the back of my van.. In the past they've let sailors sleep in the club house if they cant be bothered with a tent. (Te Awamutu, Ohaupo and Hamilton are all nearby for those who prefer a soft bed)
As usual please note your attendance on the spreadsheet.
