Dear Grace,

 

Surgery has been completed, successful as the staff said. Praise God we are through the first hurdle. Sun-Chang is in the ICU with many people still working on him. There are a lot of monitoring and testing. He is kept sedated to rest the heart. He will be waken up when they deem the time is right.

 

Thank you so much for your love and continuing prayers. We are experiencing God's presence and grace. The next few days will be challenging, so it'll be best not to visit him until he is a little more comfortable. Again thank you for your support to keep us going.

Sun-Chang was moved out of ICU this afternoon. So this is a good sign. Hospital is the only place where being downgraded is good. He was helped ino a chair twice today. Of course any movement causes him great pain, but Praise the Lord, he is able to emdure and follow the regiment. They will have him start physical therapy soon. He is kept very busy, and he tries to catch some rests between activities.  For this reason he doesn't think he has the strength to receive visitors although he misses you all.

 

He is constantly awed by how close the call was, how God saved him just in the nick of time. He is also humbled by all the calls and visits from brothers and sisters. He is very thankful of the prayers you offered on his behalf. He wants to thank you all.
