Dear Jacqueline,Thank you for your question. Yes, I can appreciate your concern, and I thought about that too, when I chose the time. Like you, I would like to encourage as many people to participate in this as possible. Unfortunately, the problem is that there is not a good time that will fit everyone. Brother Hans is already speaking for both Chinese services (9:30 and 11 AM). Therefore, he requested that we choose a time near the end of the second service. We also have several families that need to leave right after lunch, for Chinese school etc...Therefore, if we chose a later time, both Hans and those families would not be able to stay either. That is why I decided on 12:20. Since it is just a few minutes after service/class ends, hopefully more kids and parents would be willing to stay or eat lunch a little bit later, just so they can attend this. For those families that want to purchase lunch, perhaps the parents can go and buy plates for themselves and their child(ren) and bring it to Room 103, to join us? I cannot think of a better solution than this. If you have any ideas, please do let me know. I would love your help. Thanks and blessings,Cindy

Dear Cindy,
Sorry. I have a question that meeting with Mr. Hans is at 12:20pm. If student wants to have lunch or their parent wants to check out, they will miss the meeting.
Jacqueline

Dear Fall Sunday school teachers and summer leaders,
If you joined us for our children's program during the summer months, you may remember that one of our themes was "Faith Heroes", where we were introduced to some real-life followers of Jesus, who have been through some incredible adventures of faith. Mr. Hans Wilhelm, was one of those individuals, and he is coming to our church this Sunday, 9/22, to speak to our Chinese congregation.
Afterward, he has graciously agreed to stay and spend some time meeting with our children as well. Teachers, please bring yourselves and your class of children to Room 103 (the classroom in the corner of the foyer), at 12:20 p.m. this Sunday to meet him. We will do some introductions, take some photos, and possibly have a brief "question and answer" time with Hans. Don't miss this special event!
*Please forward to any other summer helpers that I may have missed. Thank you!* Hope to see you!
Blessings,
Cindy
