Ziro is regarded as one of the best young players in England today and is known for his power, pace and ability to hold the ball under pressure. He has attracted the attention of Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal after impressing at the Cre8tive Football Academy in a number of games against various top teams at youth level.

United are now turning their attention to signing a second wonderkid – Michael Noonan, a 16-year-old striker who plays for Irish club St Patrick's Athletic. However, the Red Devils are not the only team trying to sign Noonan, with Man City currently leading the race to sign the Republic of Ireland Under-17 international.

The Irish Mirror reports that Noonan will follow in the footsteps of Evan Ferguson, who has shone at Brighton after joining from Irish club Bohemians in 2021. “Tall, left-footed, eager to get in behind defenders, with the ability to finish with his first touch, he is a truly great No.9,” the Irish newspaper reports.

They also highlighted Noonan's positive attitude, adding: “How far can he go? It depends on where his luck takes him.”

United have been linked with all sorts of players in recent weeks – following the news that Erik ten Hag had been sacked and replaced by Ruben Amorim from Sporting Lisbon. Amorim will take charge of United’s first game after the international break, away to Ipswich Town.

The Portuguese coach is desperate to turn things around at Old Trafford after the club's slow start to the season.
