CUB NEWS: Sleepover & Investiture

SLEEPOVER (Oct 16 &17)
DROP OFF: Saturday Oct 16th, 5:00 pm
PICK UP: Sunday October 17th, 11:00 am
BRING: sleeping bag, sleeping pad/mattress, pajamas, change of
clothes, toothbrush, your favorite stuffy and your mess kit.

*** Please let us know if your Cub is coming to the sleepover so we
know how much food to buy! ***

Come sleepover in the Scout Hall on Saturday October 16th.

Parent helpers are needed for meal prep (dinner and breakfast).


WHAT IS A MESS KIT?
A mess kit is what you eat with. A plate, bowl, knife, fork, spoon and
mug. Usually plastic and always carried in a net bag that can be hung
up wet and allowed to dry. A net or mesh bag from a camping/outdoor
store that will hold all these items is not expensive and should last
for years.


NEXT WEEK - INVESTITURE:
Our meeting on October 19 will include the investiture of our
Tenderpads as Wolf Cubs. Family and friends are invited to come at
7:40 to help make this special for the Cubs.
